Desert Caballeros Western Museum “Art of Western Living” Exhibit and Sale.

desert-caballeros-western-muesumMore than 500 handcrafted itemsfurniture, tablewear, leatherwork, jewelry, clothing and custom saddlesthat embody the spirit of the American West will be featured at the second annual “Art of Western Living” Exhibit and Sale at the Desert  Caballeros Western Museum.

The exhibit, showcasing museum-quality work by some of the top Western designers and craftsmen, runs from November 2, 2002 through January 19, 2003.

“As our society becomes increasingly technology-driven, the more we yearn for the beauty and artistry of handcrafted designs,” says Michael Ettema, the museum’s executive director.

The “Art of Western Living,” which drew record crowds in its inaugural year, displays the items in room settings among the museum’s fine art collection.

The museum is located in downtown Wickenburg, Arizona, about an hour north of Phoenix (21 N. Frontier Street) and is open  from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
