I Thought We Were Making Movies, Not History

Word has come in on two new books, the first an autobiography by producer Walter Mirisch, I Thought We Were Making Movies, Not History.

Mirisch was responsible for an extraordinary number of top quality films, including West Side Story, The Apartment and The Pink Panther. For our purposes, he also produced Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Hour of the Gun, John Ford’s The Horse Soldiers and The Magnificent Seven.  The book hits the streets in April, and the pages of True West magazine in May.
