Play Ball! Indian Chief Trading Cards

red-man-chew-blogWhile many collectors of baseball cards have heard of the holy grail of cards, the T206 Hones Wagner card, issued by American Tobacco Company between 1909-’11, (one recently sold for $1.32 Million at Robert Edward Auctions), the Red Man Chewing Tobacco Indian Chief cards are lesser known, but much more affordable to collect. Spotted Tail, number 14 in the series of 40, was issued in pouches of Red Man tobacco in 1954. According to Trading-Cards.org, the colorful collectibles can be purchased for as little as $2, but in excellent condition are valued up to $80 apiece.
