You might say Laura Bullion was a girlfriend of outlaws. She grew up in Knickerbocker, Texas and knew locals like Ben Kilpatrick and Will Carver of the Wild Bunch as well as hard cases “Black Jack” Tom Ketchum. She became Carver’s girl when she was about 15 in 1891. Later, she hooked up with Kilpatrick. The pair were arrested and convicted of train robbery in 1901 and she did 3 ½ years in prison.
After getting out, Laura went straight and lived until 1961. Her headstone in Memp
