It was November 1893, and two men who had fought off the Johnson County (WY) invasion the previous year had it out in the streets of Buffalo. Arapahoe Brown and former sheriff Red Angus (photo) disagreed over a bar bill. Angus—thinking Brown had a gun—pulled a .32 and shot the other man in the chest.
