Two young possemen had a deadly run-in with the Wild Bunch.Teenagers Frank Lesueur and Gus Gibbons didn’t stand a chance. They were part of a posse chasing some cow thieves. What none of them knew was the culprits were members of the Wild Bunch—including deadly gunmen like Kid Curry (photo). Lesueur and Gibbons split off from the main posse, but they ran into an ambush. Both were kidriddled with bullets. The gang moved on, but over the next few months they killed several other lawmen who were on their trail.
