How do I get to the site where Johnny Ringo’s body was found? Gerald Schaefer Aberdeen, Washington Johnny Ringo’s body was found on the bank of Turkey Creek. Find Sunizona on an Arizona highway map (it’s northeast of Tombstone). Go east on State Route 181 about 12 miles. Where the highway turns north, keep going east on the dirt road to Turkey Creek Canyon. There’s a small ranch near the site. As a courtesy, ask permission to check out the site. They appreciate the gesture.
