Tulsa Jack’s Body

William Blake was better known by the handle “Tulsa Jack.” The cowboy went to the dark side in 1892 when he joined Bill Doolin’s gang.  Over the next three years, he was involved in numerous holdups as well as the legendary shootout with U.S. marshals officers at Ingalls, OK in September 1893. Three of the lawmen died.

But several of them tracked Tulsa Jack down in April 1895.  They cornered Blake at a hideout in Major County, OK.  He held them off for about 45 minutes before he was fatally shot.
