Doc Comes To Town Holliday is called to Tombstone—and infamy.

On October 21, 1881, Wyatt Earp sends brother Morgan to Tucson to bring Doc Holliday back to Tombstone. Ostensibly, Doc is to calm Ike Clanton, who thinks Wyatt has revealed a secret political deal the pair had. Instead, Doc’s appearance only adds fuel to
the fire, increasing tensions between the Earps and Cowboys. But Wyatt also knew he could trust Doc, and he may have wanted the dentist around, just in case violence broke out. It did—five days later, at the Tombstone street fight.
