The fatal gunfight between an outlaw and a lawman.
“Black Face’ Charlie Bryant—his face bears powder marks from a shooting scrape—was a member of the Dalton Gang. In August 1891, Deputy U.S. Marshal Ed Short manages to capture Bryant. But on the train ride to Wichita, KS, the outlaw gets a gun; he and the lawman shoot it out in the express car. Both are mortally wounded and die as the train pulls into the station.
