Outlaw Cole Younger gets out of prison.

July 10, 1901. Outlaws Cole (photo) and Jim Younger are released from the Minnesota prison in Stillwater after nearly 25 years in custody. Fifteen months later, Jim commits suicide, despondent over terms of his parole. As for his brother Cole, in the last 15 years of his life, the former member of the James-Younger Gang sells gravestones, runs a Wild West show with pal Frank James, and does the lecture circuit with a “crime does not pay” message.
