Paladin. Just Paladin.

His name was Paladin, and the show was “Have Gun, Will Travel.” Just Paladin. The show’s creators preferred to have their knight errant remain an enigma. Author Frank G. Robertson’s novel A Man Called Paladin was written at the end of the last season and revealed the name as “Clay Alexander.” Many Paladin fans disapproved. But the one-named hero had similar colleagues–Shane, Hondo and many more.
