A Western Jubilee is a wonderful collection of songs and poetry featuring the voices of the Sons of the San Joaquin, Don Edwards, Waddie Mitchell and others. Nothing defines the American West more than the cowboy. Although this trailhand might be far across the sea, his heart remains in Texas “By the Silvery Rio Grande” beneath a blue sky on an “Unclouded Day.” For anyone who loves the distinctive Western sound, this is a must have. —Sandy Whiting
