Doc’s Gal

The relationship of Doc Holliday and “Big Nose Kate” is well known.  But when did it start?  Many accounts say the pair met in Ft. Griffin, TX in the late 1870s.  Holliday biographer Gary Roberts disagrees. He says they got together when both were in St. Louis in the spring of 1872.  Doc was practicing his profession of dentistry; Kate was practicing the much different profession of prostitutio
