Michael Gambon is best known for playing Albus Dumbledore in six of the Harry Potter movies.  But in 2003, the year before he took over that role, Gambon did something totally different. He was cast as Denton Baxter, a strong-man town boss and rancher who tries—unsuccessfully--to destroy Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner’s cattle drive in Open Range.
