For almost 40 years the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has served up a comforting roux of Country, Folk and Rock music to soothe the listener’s soul.
Main courses have included some great compilations such as their three-volume Will the Circle Be Unbroken tribute to Country’s great performers. Forays into other formats include participation in a Buddy Holly tribute and the film Paint Your Wagon. Just putting this CD on makes one feel at home. The jangling guitar of Jeff Hanna accompanied by the harmonica of Jimmie Fadden set the stage for a musical feast reminiscent of past NGDB albums such as Uncle Charlie and All the Good Times.
