Frank McNab had a short tenure as head of the Regulators.

Frank McNab was a member of the Regulators during the Lincoln County War. He was second in command to Dick Brewer—and took the top spot when Brewer died in the Blazer’s Mill Shootout. But his leadership was very short. McNab was involved in several killings, but turnabout was fair play. On April 29, 1878, McNab and two others were ambushed by several members of the Seven Rivers Warriors. McNab was gunned down; the other two surrendered and were spared.
