Last week at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, the True West team honored some deserving Western enthusiasts.
To start the night, True West Executive Editor Bob Boze Bell thanked the crowd and presented Mike Fox, director of Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, with the True Westerner Award for his dedication to the Western community.
There were over eighty guests in attendance, and even some celebrated birthdays during the event, including Arizona State Historian Marshall Trimble and award recipient Mike Fox.
In conjunction with the True Westerner Award presentation was Bob Boze Bell’s art opening for his artwork from The Illustrated Life & Times of Geronimo. BBB’s Geronimo works will be on display at Scottsdale’s Museum of the West until February 2, 2020, and many are still available for purchase.
