There are competing claims about Holliday’s last resting place

Doc Holliday died on November 8, 1887 and was buried the same day in the Linwood Cemetery near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The exact location was lost almost immediately, so a stone marks a general location where he might be (photo). But a growing number of historians believe that Doc’s father had the body exhumed and moved to Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia. And the debate continues…
