Were the McLaury brothers avenged?

1881 was a bad year for Ft. Worth attorney Will McLaury. His wife had died. Then his brothers Frank and Tom were killed in the OK Corral gunfight. To make matters worse, the McLaury boys’ killers—the Earps and Doc Holliday—were let go after a judge ruled they had acted within their legal duties. Will McLaury was bitter. And there are rumors to this day that he financed the shooting of Virgil Earp and the murder of Morgan Earp. But the evidence is sketchy, at best.
