tribute-jimmy-martin_bluegrass_sunny-mountain_boysThe “Good ’N Country” style of Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys entertained and inspired several generations since the 1950s.

Jimmy’s climb to fame began in 1949 with five years as lead singer for Bill Monroe. This Country/Bluegrass master is semi-retired now and fighting cancer. The tribute album was lovingly created by four alumni from the Sunny Mountain Boys: Audie Blaylock, Kenny Ingram, Paul Williams and J.D. Crowe. These musicians and vocalists have striven to make this as authentic an interpretation of Jimmy’s music as possible. The recording features many of his hits, and more than half of those included were written or cowritten by Jimmy himself.
