  Recently I heard a story that Geronimo was once held in the jail at Fort Lowell (Tucson, AZ). Any truth to that? Rob Worsley Tucson, Arizona I checked out several sources and found nothing to indicate that Geronimo was ever in the Fort Lowell jail. The only time he was captured was in the spring of 1877 when John Clum, Clay Beauford and his Apache police captured him and Victorio at Warm Springs in New Mexico.
