If you love the American Frontier, you’ll definitely love Northwestern Wyoming’s Cody Yellowstone. Recently named “The Best Western Small Town in America”, it’s the perfect place to have your own authentic Wild West adventures.

Go West

Take a trolley tour which tells you 100 years of history in 60 minutes. Visit the must-see Buffalo Bill Center of the West and the Historic Old Trail Town and Museum of the Old West featuring mid-to-late 1800s artifacts, including Butch Cassidy’s Hole-in-the-Wall cabin. Go on a wild mustang tour, and live the ways of the Old West at one of Cody Yellowstone’s 14 guest and dude ranches.

Splash & Shoot

For more active adventures, go on a river trip down the Shoshone River, which takes you on a float trip through a historic canyon. Or head to the Cody Firearms Experience, where you can shoot the guns that helped win the West.

Dinner, Show & Rodeo

Being out on the range is sure to work up an appetite. The Cody Cattle Company has a chuckwagon dinner and live music nightly. Then, mosey next door to the Cody Nite Rodeo, the only nightly rodeo in the world.
