70 years of the San Angelo Cinch Roping Fiesta begins on Thursday October 26, 2023 and runs through Sunday October 29, 2023 at the San Angelo Fairgrounds Roping and Spur Arenas.
This year’s Fiesta will bring some of the most exciting events in our history with:
- Ladies Breakaway Roping in the Spur arena on Thursday sponsored by Lip Chip, LLC with $50,000 up for grabs in prize money and bonuses!
- An elite field of tie-down ropers to compete for the coveted Cinch Roping Fiesta title on Saturday in the outdoor arena.
- High octane Match Roping pitting local sensation Ty Harris against World Champion Caleb Smidt, presented by YellowHouse Machinery Co. on Saturday in the outdoor arena.
- First ever Legends Match Roping between Perennial World Champion Cody Ohl and Brent Lewis, presented by OH Triangle Ranch on Saturday in the outdoor arena.
- Matched Horse Race in the outdoor arena to wrap up the arena action on Saturday.
- Eli Young Band in concert immediately following the conclusion of all roping and racing events on Saturday between the Spur Arena and the outdoor arena.
