A true Old West/Arizona legend.

Buckey O’Neill is an Arizona legend. He arrived at age 19 in 1879, becoming a lawman in Phoenix, Prescott and Yavapai County over the next decade. Stints as Prescott mayor and a successful businessman took him to 1898. When the U.S. declared war on Spain, he joined up with the Rough Riders as captain of A Company. He was idolized by his troopers and had a reputation as fearless in battle. On July 1, 1898, at San Juan Hill, Buckey was again standing in front of his men when he was shot and killed by a sniper.
