Morgan and Wyatt work the bawdy houses in Peoria.

February 24, 1872. Brothers Wyatt and Morgan Earp are arrested in Jane Haspel’s brothel in Peoria, Illinois. They are accused of frequenting a house of ill fame–being customers–and fined $20 each. However, other records show Wyatt is living at Haspel’s. It’s believed that he is either pimping prostitutes or serving as something of a bawdy house bodyguard. In any case, he is arrested several more times in the coming months–all on prostitution-related charges. Later stories say Wyatt is a buffalo hunter in Kansas during that period in 1872.
