Larry McMurtry’s novel, Boone’s Lick, is under negotiation to be directed by Lasse Hallstrom. The Universal Studios film will be adapted by McMurtry and Diana Ossana (the team also wrote the screen adaptation for Focus Features’ Brokeback Mountain).
