John Ford’s Stamp

The U.S. Post Office will be honoring director John Ford with a stamp in 2012, along with four other directors.

Ford’s stamp is by Iowa artist Gary Kelley. Behind Ford’s face, you’ll see the great iconic image of Ethan Edwards (John Wayne), turning away from the door at the end of 1956’s The Searchers.
