This is the 15th book in the North America’s Forgotten Past series. Co-authored by archaeologists living in Wyoming, these stories share the lives of prehistoric people living on the North American continent 14,000 years ago.
In this installment, the Nightland people are battling a neighboring tribe while trying to escape a melting glacier threatening to destroy their home. Unfortunately, the Nightland characters never seem believable as cavemen. The story can get bogged down by the anthropological material, but some may appreciate it. —Phyllis Morreale-de la Garza
