Phin and his brother Ike left Cochise County and resumed rustling in Apache County. Ike was killed by lawmen in 1887. Phin was sentenced to 10 years in the Yuma Territorial Prison for grand larceny. He was pardoned a year later and moved to Globe where he raised Angora goats. He married a widow who’d had three husbands before him and three more after him. Phin died in Globe in 1906 following an accident.
