The Outlaw Trail wasn’t really one specific trail, but a series of hideouts that ran from Montana through Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and even into Mexico. The best-known hideouts included Robber’s Roost in southeast Utah and Brown’s Hole/Park, a tough Colorado canyon area near the Wyoming and Utah borders.
