Where is Morgan Earp’s wife, Louisa, buried? John “Arizona” Crawley Salem, Oregon After the 1882 assassination of Morgan, Louisa lived in southern California, but separated completely from the rest of the Earp family. In December 1885 she married Gustav Peters, although the marriage lasted only a few years. At the age of 39, she died of the kidney disease nephritis in Long Beach on June 12, 1894. Louisa Houston Earp Peters is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in east Los Angeles. Tombston
