A New Western from the Gold Country in the Southwest Pacific!

As the book review editor for True West magazine, I receive calls, emails and announcements on new books almost every day. But, I never expected to receive the Western novel A Long Trail Rolling a New Zealand author—let alone a phone call from her to tell me about her book—and warn me that a return call might be expensive—since she lives in Waihi, N.Z.! Lizzi Tremayne was raised riding horses in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, went to UC Davis and had a veterinary practice in the historic gold-country foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Today, she has traded California’s historic gold country for New Zealand’s in Waihi in the Hauraki district of the North Island.
