Western Soul. That’s what the band labels its music, which is a mix of R&B and Country. Frankly, the first time through, I didn’t think it worked. Sure, guitarist Dave Gonzalez is on fire, driving the band wherever he wants it to go. But Chris Gaffney’s world-weary vocals just seemed a little out of place.
