rekindledThis historical romance is set in l868 Colorado Territory.

Kathryn and Jason Jennings, a childless couple, live on a financially struggling cattle ranch. Their marriage is filled with misunderstandings.  Jason is ambushed and left for dead in a burning shack. Horribly scarred, he returns home months later to discover Kathryn does not recognize him. The now-pregnant Kathryn has lost the ranch and taken a job as a housekeeper for a wealthy rancher. Undetected, Jason works on the same ranch in the stables, thinking Kathryn won’t want him in his disfigured condition. True to its genre, the story has a happy ending. Rekindled is a satisfying read focusing on strong religious faith.—Phyllis Morreale-de la Garza
