In this 1880s Romance, Lady Sydney Hathwell, an English heiress, skedaddles from an arranged marriage with a cold-hearted man living in New York City.
Dressed like a boy, Syd flees to her uncle’s cattle ranch in Texas, where she hopes to hide out until her 18th birthday. Ranch cowboys nickname the English dude “Fancy Pants,” putting her through a series of grimy tasks in the hopes of making a “man” out of her. In time, her disguise is revealed, and she finds herself with a surprising love interest. This one offers lots of laughs.
