Bridging the range from Pop to Country with many stops in between, Jen Foster’s voice is clear and powerful.
The Texas native connects directly with your soul. Her lyrics are moving. Check out “Without Michelangelo” for a tremendous example of her imagery: “Imagine a world without John Lennon.” The album is solidly written and leans heavily on Country roots. The only problem is the saccharine production. All those great lyrics and that wonderful voice bottled in a package that’s too perfect for Pop/Country radio.
