Which one of Bill Tilghman’s sons became a criminal and died holding up a craps table? Was it Woody or Tench?

It was neither. Author Nancy Samuelson states it was Dick Tilghman. Dick, Woody and Albert Stratton, Zoe Tilghman’s brother, held up the crap game. Dick was killed in the holdup. Albert went to prison, and young Woody was sent to reform school. Bill Tilghman had another son, Bill Jr., who was also a criminal. One thing’s for sure, they were a wild, old family.
