I’ve heard that Julesburg, Colorado, is named after an outlaw. Please explain. Eric Baker Durango, Colorado Jules Reni, for whom Julesburg is named, was a station operator for the Overland Stage Company. He later fell into troublesome company, became an outlaw and was shot to death.
