Jess McLain, a Country singer and pro-rodeo cowboy, owns a ranch in Wyoming where he takes in young people who need a fresh start.
But Jess is also an ex-combat soldier and a no-nonsense tough guy battling demons of his own. He demands obedience and respect. When he reluctantly agrees to take in Amy Talbot, a beautiful but alcoholic 20-year-old Country singer, his real trouble begins. The girl has tremendous potential to be a Western superstar, but her addiction and bad attitude stand in the way. This is a contemporary Western with an unusual plot, snappy writing and believable characters—a fun read for all.
