In this contemporary Romance, Lauren Eldridge returns to Texas to help her father train a horse for an upcoming Hollywood movie.
This is Lauren’s first trip home after her husband was killed in a truck accident for which she has taken the blame. Filled with trepidation, she cautiously re-acquaints herself with friends and relatives, while falling in love with Nathanial Heath, the worldly Hollywood scriptwriter in town gathering information for the story. Lauren is interesting and believable, but there is no real suspense as these two people eagerly fall for each other while Lauren’s silly female relatives never stop playing Cupid.
