Ike Black.

Ike Black was an outlaw, overshadowed by the man he rode with: Zip Wyatt.  The two robbed stores and post offices throughout the Oklahoma and Indian territories between 1893 and 1895.  But their main renown was in avoiding the posses that were hot on their trail.

Their wives brought them food and supplies, so Wyatt and Black managed to stay free until they were cornered in a shack about four miles east of Cantonment on August 1, 1895.  Black died from a bullet to the head. He was buried in a pauper’s grave nearby.
