Directed and narrated by Garry R. Hood, this documentary shares the stories of 10 Apache scouts awarded the Medal of Honor in 1875 for their role in the Salt River Cave Battle in Arizona, and of the 11th scout medal recipient, given a medal for helping to hunt down the Apache Kid in 1890.

While honoring famous Apache leaders, such as Mangas Coloradas and Geronimo, the video reveals how and why scouts were recruited to hunt their own people. The historical photographs by Camillus Fly to Carl Moon to Charles F. Lummis make this DVD worth watching. To order contact Toby Giese at 816-763-5082.
