The beautiful Irish song and dance girl Lotta Crabtree is considered to be the first woman to bare her legs and smoke on stage. There's also an enduring legend that she performed at Tombstone’s Bird Cage. Although it’s unlikely Lotta probably ever performed in Tombstone, her brother Jack ran a livery stable near the Scheiffelin Hall on Fremont Street. She’s pictured here puffing on one of her famous cigarillos.
