Albert Afraid of Hawk was a 20-year-old Sioux who was part of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show when he died in Danbury, CT in 1900. He was buried in an unmarked grave. In 2008, a Danbury historian discovered Albert’s burial location and notified his descendants at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
