The Grant Conspiracy

In the decades following the War between the States, there are old wounds yet to be healed between the North and the South.  Young cock-sure lawyer, Matt Tyler has been requested for a special appointment to a successful law firm in Colorado.  With rumors of an assassination attempt on former president General U.S. Grant, Tyler suspects the firm intends to use him to lure Grant to town and hopes he can save the General from a Confederate bullet yet again.  Lee Martin’s The Grant Conspiracy: The Wake of the Civil War plays out like a game of checkers with bodies piling up and the surviving characters vying for the final position.
