Top 10 Western Museums of 2011

10. Clark County Museum (Henderson, Nevada)

You have to love a museum that provides children (and parents) with a safe place to trick-or-treat—and learn about history. “Ghost and Goblins of Nevada’s Past” brought in more than 10,000 visitors—most of them under 12 years old—last Halloween. Other key exhibits: “Urbanizing the Mohave Desert” and “Boots on the Ground, Planes in the Air.” Also, the price ($2 adults, $1 children and seniors) can’t be beat.
