Terresita eventually toured the United States, amazing audiences with her healing powers, and for a time in the early 1900s, was the most famous Mexican woman in this country.
When she came “home,” she came to Clifton, Arizona, where her grave sits inside an iron fence. Some say that when they visit, they can smell roses.
