History Detectives Wants You

Maybe you’re one of those folks with some really old items in the basement or attic, and you don’t know much about them. If they’re related to our national parks, the PBS series History Detectives wants to check them out.

The program—hosted by Cowan’s Auctions chief Wes Cowan—is focusing on national parks items with historical significance. If you share your memento with them, they may investigate its origins and put you on camera, with broadcast sometime this summer.  It’s a lead-up to documentarian Ken Burns’s series The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, slated to air this fall.

If you’ve got a worthy collectible, click on “Submit Your Story” at the History Detectives website.
