In this Christian Romance, Irma Friedrich is the spoiled teenage daughter of a banker and a matchmaking mother. Rather than settle for finishing school and the life it brings with it, Irma joins Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West show as a female trick rider. As the story progresses, Irma’s mother takes on a more sympathetic role, eventually walking out on her cheating husband. Meanwhile, Irma rides
in Cody’s show, where she matures emotionally. Her parents eventually find forgiveness and rekindled love for their wild daughter, while Irma snuggles in the arms of her Wild West cowboy. The story features no villain or surprise ending, and it is light entertainment, written primarily for teenage girls.
